At LicitaRadar we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and what rights you have over it. By creating an account or using our service, you accept the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide the service:

• Account data: your name, company, email address and WhatsApp number.
• Alert preferences: keywords, categories and minimum budget you set to filter tenders.
• Usage data: basic technical information (for example, access logs) to operate and improve the platform.

2. How we use your information

• To send you, by WhatsApp, the tenders that match your profile.
• To create and manage your account.
• To contact you about your plan, support and service updates.
• To improve the relevance of alerts and the quality of the product.

3. WhatsApp messages

By providing your number, you authorise LicitaRadar to send you alerts and communications via WhatsApp. You can pause alerts at any time from your account or by requesting it through the same channel.

4. Who we share information with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with providers that help us operate the service (for example, database hosting and the WhatsApp messaging platform), who handle it under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.

5. Tender data (PanamaCompra)

Tender information comes from public data published by Panama's Directorate General of Public Procurement (DGCP) / PanamaCompra under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (CC BY 4.0). It is not your personal information and is shown for informational purposes.

6. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No system is completely infallible, but we work to safeguard your data against unauthorised access.

7. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you request deletion, we will erase your data unless we are legally required to retain it.

8. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your information, and pause alerts, by writing to us at katia@licitaradar.org.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will publish the current version on this page along with its update date.
